Mr. Goguen’s experience covers 25 years of
Architectural Practice as well as Tourism and Recreation Planning
throughout Atlantic Canada. His past work includes the planning and design
of educational facilities, housing, office buildings, institutional and
government projects, tourism/recreation developments as well as facilities
for transportation, commercial, industrial and retail activities. Many of
these projects have included asset assessment and significant
redevelopment.
Mr. Goguen has co-cordinated such projects as the Schlumberger Regional
Headquarters and the Dominion Biologicals Facilities in Burnside
Industrial Park, Dartmouth, Sun Alliance Office Building (Truro),
Colchester Mental Health Centre (Truro), Agricultural Extension Services
Engineering Building at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College (Bible Hill),
Colchester County Correctional Centre, the Royal Bank in Woodstock, the
UPS, Delta Hotels and Canada Post Call Centres in Fredericton and several
school renovation projects.
Mr. Goguen has recently completed the Centre for Family Violence Research,
the Forestry and Wildlife Research Facility, the Student Union Building
expansion, the Computer Science and Information Technology Centre at the
University of New Brunswick as well as the J.B. O'Keefe Fitness Centre and
the Admissions and Reception Centre for neighboring campus St. Thomas
University. He was also principal in charge of co-ordinating the design
and contract documents for Leo Hayes High School; a 1700 student high
school on Fredericton’s north side.

Eren graduated from the Carleton University in 1999 and continued her career in
Ottawa until 2002, when she moved to New Brunswick. The experience she brings
encompasses a wide variety of project types including high-tech office buildings
and retirement residences. Since moving to New Brunswick, Eren has had the
opportunity to act as project architect for school, nursing home, hospital,
maintenance facility and residential projects. In addition to design work, Eren
manages projects, prepares presentation drawings and works on construction
documents.
Eren has a strong interest in sustainable design and in 2004, she became
recognized as a LEED Accredited Professional with the U.S. Green Building
Council. As a member of the design team, she can ensure that facilities are
energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
Since joining our firm, Eren has become a key member of our team. She brings her
creative energy and enthusiasm to all projects she is involved in. She is
currently working on school and retirement residence projects within the
province.

Jim has coordinated the production of working
drawings and has managed and conducted the inspection program for a long
list of project types and sizes ranging from modest renovations to
medium-rise, multi-faceted commercial complexes.
Jim is the Senior Architectural Technologist responsible for the production of
working drawings and conducts site inspections for all of the Firm’s major
projects.
Mr. Phillips’ primary responsibility at Goguen and Company Ltd. is Quality
Control for Contract Documents and Contract Administration. Jim assures that
the design drawings, specifications and bid documents released for tender
are complete, buildable, and that they accurately reflect the intentions
of the architectural staff and that Construction Inspections and
Contract Administration is thorough, complete and well documented.
Jim is the firms building technology expert and assess building
construction and maintenance problems and recommends and
supervises remedial work required.

Darroch White has almost 15
years of architectural experience with a broad range of project
experience and project delivery methods. Past clients have included
private sector, government, university, military, first nations, nursing
homes, churches, industrial, and residential. Mr. White relishes well
coordinated projects that are on time and on budget; while also going
the extra mile for customer satisfaction.

Scott makes an invaluable contribution to the firm on a
daily basis. He is directly involved in the production of presentation and
working drawings. Scott provides the firm with a multitude of three
dimensional CAD
skills. With Scott's 3D rendering and modeling abilities, the firm is able
to consistently provide clients with detailed visual three dimensional
representations of the project at hand. Building walk-through and
animations are critical design and communication tools provide by Scott's
modeling and rendering capabilities. |

As the team member in charge of front office operations, Susan fulfills a
variety of obligations, from the monitoring of all incoming and outgoing
documentation, to the generation of typical office correspondence and
ordering of architectural and general office supplies.
Susan is responsible for all administration pertaining to projects: typing
proposals, contracts and specifications using the NMS Edit program, and
maintenance of hard copy and computer files. proficient in a variety of
computer programs including MS Office. Susan also tracks tender
documents, project change orders and payment certificates.
